Discussing who “wrote the book” when it came to sniping has always been a thing with Garrus, Thane, and Shepard, all three of them skilled marksmen. Target practice would always end with one of them performing slightly better than the other two, sometimes because one of them hadn’t had enough sleep or concentration, but mostly because of pure luck. But that Geth platform in the AI Core made all three of them feel uneasy – not because of its nature, but mostly because of its sniping skills – and its sniper rifle. ‘Have you seen it, Shepard?’ Garrus was pacing back and forth in Engineering, his mandibles flaring with excitement. ‘Nearly 40 kilos, shatters every organic’s arm…’ ‘And the aim of the one wielding must be perfect as well, since it is a synthetic, free of all flaws we have, the perfect sniper,’ murmured Thane, contemplating the agitated Turian. ‘Well,’ Shepard said with a smirk, ‘there is a modified version of that rifle, and we organics always have a couple of tricks up our sleeves, don’t we, Vakarian?’. Garrus couldn't help but chuckle, and Thane gave a polite nod. After a short discussion and a unanimous decision all three of them got to the second deck and headed straight to where Legion was, surprising Dr. Chakwas as they passed her by. ‘Legion’, Shepard started. ‘Shepard-commander,’ a metallic voice replied. ‘Thane, Garrus and I – we like to do some target practice. Not sure you need anything like that, so this time it will involve taking care of enemies as well. Care to join us?’ Legion raised two metal flaps on its head. If anything, it looked amused. ‘Acknowledged’.
