Grissom Academy is under attack by Cerberus forces attempting to kidnap the students. As the Cerberus blocks all communications, Jack and her two students, Ensign Rodriguez and Jason Prangley must part ways from the rest of the class (for the class' own safety), and hit Cerberus forces directly, so that one of them is able to send call for help into the network communications. The mission starts with hope that someone out there, like Samantha Traynor, is scanning for unusual activities and will be able to recognize Cerberus' threat in time.
